Opening the Season with a Song at Peconic Bay Yacht Club

April 9, 2016

Kicking off our inaugural spring season in grand style, over 400 guests attended the launch of songstress Ann Paul’s CD, “Get Me By” at the stunning Peconic Bay Yacht Club on the border of Southold and Greenport. Ann’s husband, Eugene Burger, along with business partners John Ingrilli and Jim Martin built an unparalleled event venue with phenomenal panoramic views of the bay. The high-end, top of the line construction is nestled on a small, picturesque cove in wine country on Eastern Long Island and is a must for anyone looking to throw a party on the North Fork! At the season kick off party, guests sampled butler-passed Mini Maine Lobster Rolls and Hand-cut Belgian Frites, then perused the fine Charcuterie and Artisanal Cheese station and enjoyed shucked-to-order local oysters and little neck clams at the Raw Bar (by Southold Fish Company) in the first floor ballroom. Downstairs, in the clubby lower level lounge bar, party-goers tasted local Bedell Cellars, McCalls Vineyard or Macari Wines. The evening culminated on the second floor, at the bar and event space, with Ann’s concert quality performance where she wowed the crowd with her original songs including Red Creek Road, All Good, and The One I Know.
